Meet Caroline
Dreamer and creator
Hello! I am Caroline and I am based in Crieff, Perthshire – a beautiful little town that is in the gateway to the highlands which provides me endless inspiration for designs. I live with my husband (the BFG) and my adventurous little boy (mini BFG).
Since I was a child, I have been passionate about sewing and making things. Growing up in Edinburgh, The Playhouse was one of my favorite places to go. After seeing Phantom of the Opera, my love of costume design was cemented, and I even went on to get a degree in Costume with Performance Design from the Arts University Bournemouth.
During my time at university I developed my abilities in pattern cutting, corsetry, tailoring, printing, and dyeing. After graduating, I was fortunate enough to receive training from a bridal designer, which ignited my enthusiasm for creating gowns that evoke strong emotions. Combining the knowledge I acquired with my fondness for vintage and made to measure, I am now striving to provide those seeking something special and unique with pieces that are both creative and reminiscent of the past.

I love to create unique and special pieces that are tailored to each individual. I believe that every individual no matter what size should feel beautiful and confident in their outfit and I strive to make sure that each outfit is perfect for them. I take great pride in my work and I am passionate about creating creative and timeless designs that reflect the individual who it is made for.
On the bespoke experience page, you can find a detailed breakdown of my process. The most important thing to know is that I am dedicated to my work and take the time to get to know my clients. I view creating a wedding outfit as a collaborative experience. I will always listen to how you want the dress to make you feel, help you relax against your insecurities, and create something that reflects you and aims to make you love yourself as much as the one who is marrying you.

Reloved
I love to bring life to old things. My own wedding dress was made from a 1930s slip and old lace I collected over the years. Do you have a dress or heirloom textiles you would like to bring new life to? Get in touch and we can go from there.
